The Tiny Kitchen started a few years ago, in my very small studio apartment in Somerville, MA. Despite the kitchen being inside a tiny closet, it was the heart of my apartment. I began teaching cooking classes based on literature for both children & adults. The Tiny Kitchen has since grown into a small business, and has moved with me to Natick, MA.
Before running Tiny Kitchen full time I taught for eight years at the Reggio inspired, Newtowne School in Cambridge, MA. I have a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University. I love working with families, parents, and our local community.
At Tiny Kitchen we bring together the elements of food, books, art, & play as a way to teach children literacy and math skills, but more importantly lessons about sharing, friendship, and togetherness.
